If Powerstation are getting a dyno next month, that is perfect as they know the bike anyway since I bought it from them. I am still waiting for the cylinders and heads to be diamond cut, so they wont arrive until later in August anyway.
Ref O2 sensors, I thought if you setup your SEST to be closed loop, it would ignore the sensors and you could set any AFR...is that incorrect? One thing I dont like about they way the bike runs is that it is so hot, so I want it setup richer than it currently is.
Thanks for the tips
U may check at Powerstation. I think that someone might give you an properly answer. Actully I can give you a tune file but I heard that Next month Powerstation will have thier own Dyno. Do not do anything to damage your engine. PLs contact pro mech at Powerstation.
Sert is very easy to setup but you need professional technical who certified to do so.
Who have make modifies for you? I believe he had set the basic Calibration file into your EFI.
BTW, If you can use SERT , U may set by your own but definitely on your own risk.
First you have to tell SERT What AFR ratio baseline you r looking at like 14.5 for Gasohol or 13.2 for real power. 14.5 engine runs hot 13.2 engine runs cooler.
2. if you still use O2 sensor narrow band from factory, Do not expect richer than 14.0 AFR ratio which good for crusing only Not performance.
3. you have to change engine replacement but I am sure your mechanic have it done.
4. Use AFR meter To set up new MAP table. then U got ur new map table base on what AFR u used.
5. USE sert record functions to record ur bike behavior while running on the road.
6. use many varieble speed and twist your thorttle from 0% to 100% in each gear .
This's only half way and wasting a lot of time but fun. If you r interesting in selftune I can give you some more advice. But if not pls contact which I have recommend as above.
